Fellow Winnipeg firefighter Jason Buhr has paid tribute to Tom Nichols and Harold Lessard with a fabulous song that he penned and recorded with the help of some of the most respected musicians in Canada, including Murray Pulver (Crash Test Dummies, Doc Walker) and Spider Sinneave (Streetheart, Tom Cochrane and Red Rider). I would also like to acknoledge firefighter Ed Wiebe who has not returned to active duty since the February 4th, 2007 fire due to the extent of his injuries. The strength and courage that Ed has shown during his extensive recovery has been inspiring to all of us, and we wish him all the very best.
